Bookbinder Megan Stallworthy will show you how to make two contemporary book structures with beautiful sculptural forms.

Make two contemporary book structures with beautiful sculptural forms, perfect to use as sketchbooks, for displaying art work or photographs, or as the basis for artists’ books. Working with bookbinder and MAKE Southwest member Megan Stallworthy, you will learn bookbinding techniques us-ing specialist tools and materials, and take away your own hand-made books plus the skills to make more at home.

This event is part of a programme of talks and workshops around the exhibition Responding to Light: the diversity of modern photography, at MAKE Southwest, 16 September - 4 November 2023.

The exhibition will showcase some of the huge range of techniques, subjects, and skills associated with contemporary British photography, including digital and analogue technologies, in large and small scales, 2D and 3D forms.
