Festive Spoon Carving

Workshop with Alex Finberg

Friday 14th December 2023
10am - 12.30pm

£35 per session

Venue: MAKE Southwest

Suitable for: Adults & children over 12 years old

Level: Beginner

Join MAKE Southwest Maker Member, Alex Finberg, who will show you how to carve a wooden spoon with a festive twist!

We will use simple hand tools and age old techniques to carve wooden spoons from a pre made spoon blank into a finished spoon. There is something extremely satisfying about carving and then gifting a hand-carved wooden spoon

This is a very rewarding process to pick up a spoon blank and finish it with hook knife and straight knife, and then decorate it with the colours of your choice and make it a gift to be treasured!
