Join MAKE Southwest Maker Member, Megan Stallworthy, from Celandine Books, to make 3 sewn notebooks.

Learn traditional bookbinding techniques using specialist tools and materials, with lots of expert tips shared along the way. 

All the materials and tools will be provided for this workshop, and you will take home your handmade books with a set of workshop notes and the skills to make more books at home.

This workshop is open to all abilities; no previous experience of bookbinding is necessary. 

Participants must be aged 16 years or older. 

 

On the Day

All tools and materials will be provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is opening in January 2024 should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop. 

On arrival, please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
