Dartmoor Dreams - new work by Carol Ballenger

16 July to 21 August , Gallery education space

Foxtor Mires by Carol Ballenger

Through black and white photographs and poems Carol Ballenger and John Powls celebrate a 25 year collaboration with an exhibition in two parts and the publication of their new updated and enlarged Dartmoor Dreams book, (160 pp hardback £19.95).

Carol's early photographs, scanned from original darkroom prints, and recent digital photographs, are presented in the two exhibitions as fine art prints together with John's poems. They represent the special and longstanding relationship of photographer and poet to Dartmoor and to each other's work. These exhibitions provide an opportunity to see the result of a unique collaboration between these artists whose work has been shown widely in this country and abroad.

For associated talks, workshops and performances by John and Carol and their Arts Live colleagues and for more information see www.artslive.org.uk

The second part of this show, Dartmoor Dreams - Early Work, runs June 7th to September 1st at the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown.
