Under the Tree 2023

Under the Tree is our annual Christmas exhibition that takes place in our Jubilee Gallery. The exhibition brings together enticing collections in a variety of disciplines for your Christmas shopping, handmade by designer-makers across the UK.

With an informal, craft fair vibe, Under the Tree provides a welcoming and festive shopping experience. The show offers a fantastic variety of craft disciplines in small scale batch production alongside one-off unique pieces.

It is a great opportunity for people to buy quality handmade gifts by talented craftspeople, and an inspiring alternative to the high street and online shopping.

Around the Table

Around the Table is a Maker Member exhibition on the theme of winter celebrations. Christmas is a time to slow down, gather together, tell stories, eat, drink, and celebrate.

To complement our annual Christmas exhibition, Under the Tree, which brings together craft from a variety of makers across the UK, we have curated a Maker Member show in the Riverside Gallery with a cosy feel, celebrating winter and gatherings, the home, family, friends, fairytale, and folklore. 

A variety of handmade crafts, from ceramics and print to jewellery and textiles, will make perfect tokens for loved ones.
