FREE drop-in workshops

Wednesday 17 June 2026

10.30am - 12pm (Adults)
OR
3.30pm - 5pm (Children)

FREE

Venue: MAKE Southwest

Join the MAKE Southwest team and volunteers for a free drop-in workshop to make wildflower seed bombs that support local wildlife and strengthen your connections with nature and each other.

Whether you have a window box, garden bed, patch of grass or shared community space, introducing wildflowers can create valuable habitats for pollinators and other insects.

The making process is hands-on, tactile, messy and enjoyable - a simple activity that gives you a chance to spend time with your community, learn something new and leave with a small act of nature-positive change to take home.

All tools and materials provided. Please bring an empty egg carton, Tupperware or box to take your seed bombs home in.

Seed bombs are great fun for children and adults! We are running two sessions throughout the day:

10.30am - 12pm Adults

3.30pm - 5pm Children & Families (pop-in on the school run)

No need to book, just turn up!

On the Day

All tools and materials will be provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the session.

On arrival, please enter via the shop, follow the arrows to the back of the retail galleries. Our new education space is on the ground floor at the rear of the building.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
