A Green Maker Initiative workshop

Make a Moving Owl: a mark making and assemblage workshop, with The Wowhaus!

Loosely based on the boundless markmaking of artist Clare Youngs, we will use various found objects and exciting techniques to mark make galore!

Using our marked papers we will make owl wings, bodies, heads and legs, then assemble these parts so that our colourful owls can move and take flight!

All equipment and materials will be provided, but if you want to bring interesting found or recycled materials from home to make marks with, that would be great!

This workshop is open to young people aged 6 years +.

We ask for an adult to accompany workshop participants for the workshop duration.

On the Day

All tools and materials will be provided.

On arrival, please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.
