Collaged Portraits for Children

Workshop with Ian Wilkins

Friday 27 October 2023, 10am - 12pm

£5

Venue: MAKE Southwest

Suitable for: Children & Families

Level: Beginner

Come and enjoy a workshop exploring the creative and fun use of collage to make portraits.

A fun and creative workshop using old magazines and painted papers to make collaged portraits.

You will explore how to represent facial features using objects and images collected from recycled magazines. We will look at simple collage techniques; layering different shapes, textures and colour to build your overall design/s.

Each ticket purchased will provide enough materials for one attendee.

We ask that children under the age of 11 are accompanied by an adult and have hands-on support.

This workshop will be led by printmaker and MAKE Southwest Learning Officer, Ian Wilkins.

Workshop capacity: 10 attendees plus accompanying adults.
