Ceramic Moon Gazing Hare

Workshop with Sara Evans

Thursday 29 February 2024, 10.30am - 4.30pm

£90

Venue: MAKE Southwest

Suitable for: Adults

Level: Beginners

Make a stylised Moon Gazing Hare sculpture facilitated by MAKE Southwest Associate Maker Member, Sara Evans.

This characterful ceramic sculpture stands at about 20 cm and will be unglazed, but fired to stoneware temperature. As such, they can withstand outdoor temperatures!

Sara will guide you through the process of building your hare out of clay, using a range of hand building techniques.

Completed hares can then be painted with watercolours or thinned acrylic paints at home.

Finished hares will be returned to MAKE Southwest after firing and will be available for collection by participants.

Ticket price include all costs for kiln firing.

All tools and materials will be provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is opening in January 2024 should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.
