Suitable for: Adults

Level: All levels

Join printmaker Sue Potter for w workshop exploring botanical plant pressings.

Create a set of unique botanical impressions from a selection of dried seed heads + leaves (all supplied). These can either be printed or embossed to make a series of cards and/or mini prints.

This technique is based on the Japanese printing method ‘Gyo Taku’ where an impression is taken from the foliage, capturing its detailed characteristics.

The process typically allows for both a positive + negative image to be achieved and there is scope in this workshop to be more playful and experimental.

All materials will be provided on the day and this workshop is open to complete beginners or people with experience of printmaking.
