Willow Weaving - Christmas Stars Workshop

Come and learn how to weave willow and make a Christmas Star decoration for the festive season! 

Use a variety of colours to create your chosen piece between 35 - 45cm. 

Attach LED fairy lights to make a festive door or wall decoration - lights are not included in the workshop, but please do feel free to bring a battery set with you on the day.

This workshop is led by MAKE Southwest member Vivienne Turner who will be running a morning & afternoon session: 

10.30am - 1pm  

2pm - 4.30pm 

All tools and materials will be provided.

No previous experience of willow weaving is necessary. 

Participants must be aged 18 years +

Throughout November, December and January we’ll be celebrating our Green Maker Initiative (GMI) Season; hosting events, workshops and exhibitions themed around the natural world and championing sustainable craft.

On the Day

All tools and materials will be provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop - all participants receive a 10% discount voucher for food and drink purchased on the day. 

On arrival, please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
