GMI Spring Craft Fair

On Saturday 20th May, 10am - 4pm, our very own Green Maker Initiative will be taking over the Jubilee Gallery (MAKE Southwest, Riverside Mill), between exhibitions, for another craft fair with the emphasis on sustainability.

16 of our Pledged Green Makers will be selling their sustainable craft, from ceramics and jewellery to textiles and glass. The makers will choose whether they are selling seconds or if they are representing sustainability in their creative practice and process, but one thing is for sure, you’ll be able to get your hands on some beautiful handmade craft.

Not just a craft fair…

The day is shaping up to be a hotbed of activity with various exciting things planned in all four corners of the Riverside Mill throughout the day!

2pm - 4pm | Retail Gallery
We will be joined by Katie Treggiden, an award winning craft and sustainability writer, podcaster, and keynote speaker championing a circular approach to design, for a signing of her new book ‘Broken: Mending and Repair in a Throwaway World’.

‘Broken’ is Katie’s sixth book, featuring a foreword by The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades.
