Dream Clients: How to identify and contact them with The Design Trust

This workshop will focus on identifying your potential trade and consumer clients, how to create a database/contact list and how to approach your potential clients professionally. In this session we will work on:
  • Who are your dream clients actually? Get clarity on who your clients really are and use the 5 client questions to get to know them in more depth.

  • How to identify your dream clients - as groups and individually. Why identifying consumers and trade clients is very different.

  • Why creating a database is one of the most important marketing tasks for makers, especially if you want to sell to trade. How to start a database, which software to use, how to find contact details and add them legally

  • How to approach your potential clients creatively and confidently and stay in touch with existing clients too!

This is a practical marketing workshop for both new emerging designer-makers and creatives, and more established creatives who want to improve their marketing skills and client knowledge and target the right clients and stay in touch.
