Venue: MAKE Southwest

Suitable for: Children

Join Pulp exhibitor James Lake for a free workshop where you will build your very own 3D temple made out of cardboard!

Learn how to transform an idea from 2D into 3D using simple joining techniques.

There will be time to personalise your sculpture with detail and participants can continue to work on their outcomes at home using paint or other art and craft materials.

This workshop is aimed at children aged between 8 - 11 years old and we ask parents to join us in providing hands-on support for the duration.

All tools and materials will be provided.

Participants are welcome to collect their own recycled cardboard and bring this to use during the workshop.

On the Day

All tools and materials will be provided.

Soft drinks and water will be available on the day. Our Café is opening in January 2024 should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.

On arrival, please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
