‘Escape Here’ Necklace
Laura Brown’s workshop is in Cornwall, set within a small woodland copse. She is directly influenced by the woods and the world of life, both real and imaginary, within it. Inspired by the idea of storytelling, she is drawn to details that invite you to look in closely and see more; her jewellery is playful in nature and narrative. Her signature pieces are three dimensional set pieces, almost like a stage.
Each piece is crafted and cut with attention to detail, use of ethical materials, environmentally friendly making practices and quality of finish. She uses silver, gold, enamels and precious stones in her work, using small batch production which means she only produces two or three pieces at any one time. Her workshop is powered entirely by solar energy and is completely off mains power.
