Laura Kriefman is an internationally exhibiting Stained Glass Artist.
“I combine exceptional technical delivery with a contemporary visual style that combines my love of colour and movement into the flow and precision of leaded stained glass work. My work is playful, colourful and vivid. In 2024 I won the Amanda Moriarty Memorial Prize, was featured in Devon Life Magazine and Greenhill Arts Biennale. In 2025 I was longlisted for the Ruth Borchard Portrait Award and work is featured at International Biennale of Glass, Bulgaria 2025.”
Through my company Hellion Trace Ltd I was an internationally successful and award winning public realm artist. Fellowships include Mozilla XR Studio Fellow 2018, PRS UK Female Innovator in Music 2017 (Keychange.eu), 2016 INK Fellow, 2015 WIRED Magazine/The Space Creative Fellow and a 2011-2012 Fellow of the Clore Cultural Leadership Programme. Awards include: 3 Royal Television Society Awards for Digital Innovation ( 2012/13); an Honorary Mention Prix Des Arts, Ars Electronica, Smart Oxford Playable City Commission 2017. Work was featured at Venice Biennale, commissioned by BBC Arts, and is in the permanent collection at Warwick Museum. I have been a collaborating artist with over 20 UK and European Universities.
