Lea Phillips | Ceramics | Devon

Lea makes wheel thrown, high fired stoneware pottery, including a full range of table ware as well as some larger one off pieces.

She is particularly known for her expressive use of pattern and colour and all her pots are individually decorated with free abstract designs in colourful stoneware glazes.

The tableware is available in several different designs; currently Midnight Blue, Bloomsbury and Cosmic.

Lea completed the Harrow studio pottery course in 1980 and was an apprentice at Dartington pottery.

She also makes prints and abstract art using crayon, print and mixed media.

Lea worked at Coombe Park in Devon for twenty years and was a founding member of the Unit 7 arts collective.

In 2022 she relocated to Dorset and opened the Happy Crab Gallery in Gloucester St, Weymouth.
