Trinity England creates evocative sculptural jewellery imbued with opulence and mystique. Founder Sonia Popiolek is a jewellery designer who originally trained at the prestigious Sir John Cass Faculty of Art and Design in London and graduated in 2018 with a first-class BA Hons degree from Plymouth College of Art. Her debut collection ‘Ignota’ is inspired by Victorian memento mori jewellery and vanitas combined with elements from myth and nature to create ‘modern artefacts’ or ‘objects of contemplation’. Favouring hand tools and the lost wax casting method Sonia combines recycled base and precious metals with Swarovski ‘vegan’ pearls and gemstones to create evocative pieces that are bold yet fine in detail.
