I have been working with clay for the past 7 years. During this period, I have spent time learning from master potters, teaching, and creating my own successful business.
I believe that our everyday routines are enjoyed so much more when using a handmade pot, making that first cup of tea in the morning more ritual than routine.
All my pots start their life on the wheel, throwing being my favourite part of the process. The first time I went on the wheel I was hooked and I haven’t stopped since.
I use a stoneware clay made in Stoke-on-Trent and have created all my glazes myself, tweaking the chemistry until I’m happy. I fire using electric kilns though I have a deep love for atmospheric firings.
I’m currently based in Bristol where I run classes and workshops along side creating my range of wheel-thrown forms focused in both beauty and function.
