A Green Maker Initiative workshop

From hedgerow to ink pot, learn how to turn plants into paints with Colour Lab.

A one day workshop exploring local colour, where you’ll learn how to make your own watercolour inks from plants, minerals and waste materials.

We’ll work with local seasonal plants and accessible ingredients to make a palette of place. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of colour making as an ecological practice, a pot of your own ink, sample cards and recipes, and any artwork you’ve made.

Materials are provided but please bring a clean jar to take some ink home in and a notebook if you’d like.

This workshop is open to anyone over the age of 18.
