A Green Maker Initiative Workshop

 

Come and enjoy a relaxing afternoon making some natural Christmas decorations with MAKE Southwest Maker Member, Vivienne Turner.

Vivienne will show you how to weave some traditional natural willow Christmas decorations including trees, stars and reindeer to adorn your home or embellish Christmas presents.

** Please bring your foliage or embellishments to add to your willow decorations if you choose. **

No previous experience of willow weaving is necessary. 

 

On the Day

Please bring your chosen foliage or embellishments to the workshop afternoon.

Willow, tools and tuition will be provided, please bring secateurs (if you have them). Please do wear comfortable / old clothes. Aprons will be provided if needed.

A glass of non-alcoholic sparkling wine and a mince pie will be available on arrival. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop - all participants receive a 10% discount voucher for food and drink purchased on the day. The 10% discount is also valid in our shop for the duration of your workshop day.

On arrival, please enter the building via the shop, follow the arrows to the café, through the galleries and up the internal stairs. Make your way through the café and through the glass double doors to the workshop. Please let us know if you require the lift or need any reasonable adjustments made ahead of the workshop.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
