THE PANDEMIC EFFECT

Like many others, having found myself in a lockdown situation over the last few months, I decided to use my time to try something totally different, which in my case was to experiment with various ways of joining pieces of silver to gether without the use of heat.

It was something I’ve never done before, but after having finally resolved a way to achieve this, I then went even further by incorporating rose gold as a way of joining silver together, as well as being a design feature to enhance the look of the work.

All in all, it’s been an extremely interesting and rewarding experience, one which has left the three necklaces here that I eventually produced to look not too dissimilar to the kind of work one sees in the “The Arts and Craft Movement.“
