Colleen is a weaver who specialises in creating large handwoven rugs in her Devon home.
She says " my rugs are born in the glaciers that scour Iceland, the wadis of Jordan, in the seas, rivers and moors of Devon. I weave by hand to capture and reshape the rich colours and patterns of nature on my floor loom. The wild beauty of the outdoors comes inside".
Scandinavian boundweave structures such as Krokbragd, Rosepath and Danskbrogd are used to create lively and intricate designs.
