These works are part of a new range of work which I developed during lockdown after visiting Australia. I was inspired by the colours and designs of Aboriginal art rooted in their landscape.

Hand thrown in red earthenware clay. The decoration uses black and ochre coloured slips with paper resist and sgraffito techniques.

Large dish

Hand thrown in red earthenware clay and decorated with black and ochre slips, using a paper resist technique. This large dish is oven-proof so can be used to serve hot food or as a fruit or salad bowl.
