From a series called ‘Understory’. This work is concurrent with the development of my woodland garden. As the trees mature, the canopy lifts and offers space for special woodland plants to establish. The understory has limited filtered light highlighting form and generating atmosphere and mood. I’m continuing to improve digital techniques of layering to create special depth and a sense of place.
