“I make hand woven rugs from the finest natural materials.

My work is grounded in secure knowledge of fibre, yarn construction and technique stemming from hands on experience with raw materials.

The rugs have characteristic texture and unique identity derived from this deep understanding of material and process.

Since leaving St. Martin's School of Art I have found my own path in woven textiles, have been a member of MAKE Southwest (formerly Devon Guild of Craftsmen) since 2000 and exhibited work over the UK.

From 2002 - 2014 I focused on running my own gallery in North Devon, exhibiting and selling the work of other South West makers alongside my own.

I now work from home, 50 acres of hill farm typical of the small valleys of Exmoor. I have run the farm since 1991, where my flock of Shetland sheep is kept for wool and conservation grazing.”
