Lino Printing for Children

Workshop with Ian Wilkins

Thursday 31 August 2023, 2pm - 4pm

£5

Venue: MAKE Southwest

Suitable for: Children & Families

Level: Beginner

Come and learn how to make a linocut print!

In this workshop you will learn how to design, cut and print a linocut.

We will look at some example prints and then create a simple design based on natural forms that will be printed in colour.

Each ticket purchased will provide enough materials for one attendee.

We ask that children under the age of 11 are accompanied by an adult and have hands-on support, as lino cutting tools are sharp and need to be handled with care.

This workshop will be led by printmaker and MAKE Southwest Learning Officer, Ian Wilkins.

Workshop capacity: 8 attendees plus accompanying adults.

On the Day

All materials will be provided.

On arrival, please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces
