Dog in a Day

Workshop with Kate Toms

Thursday 25 April 2024, 10.30am - 4pm

£80

Venue: MAKE Southwest

Suitable for: Adults

Level: Beginners

Join MAKE Southwest Maker Member and mixed media artist, Kate Toms, to make a characterful needle felted dog in just one day.

Needle felting is a simple process – the fleece is shaped with the hand and ‘fixed’ in place using barbed needles. Working with wire and fleece, Kate will take you through the process of making a small sitting dog.

No experience is needed. Should you not complete the project on the day, you will leave with the wherewithal to complete the project at home.

Use of tools is included and all materials will be provided but if you wish to do so, you can bring a small piece of ribbon or fabric for your dog’s collar.

On the Day

All tools and materials will be provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.

On arrival, please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.

Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
