Meet the Maker: Amanda Glendenning

This event is an informal opportunity to meet Amanda Glendenning, who will be working on some of her embroidery works in our Riverside gallery as part of her exhibition: 'As Above, So Below'.

‘As Above, So Below’ explores myth, ritual, and folklore through embroidery and stitch. The exhibition is an homage to the stories told and the marking of life’s seasons by women of the past.

This body of work encapsulates the alchemy of hand embroidery: the transformation of humble materials into precious fabrics.
