Join us for a papermaking demo by Two Rivers Paper, a traditional paper mill based in Somerset.
Two Rivers hand-make beautiful rag papers for artists and designers using Exmoor water and principally cotton and linen flax but other materials such as hemp, esparto, seeds, flower petals and recycled rag are used to impart special characteristics.
The sheets are formed individually by craftsmen using traditional English hand moulds and deckles giving each sheet characteristic ragged edges.
The team will be demonstrating their age-old techniques throughout the day with a break for lunch.
