In our current digital age, it is hard to ignore the rapid growth of new-technologies. In an increasingly complex world, it can be difficult to discern reality from fiction. The work of Will Thomas aims to explore and highlight the intricacies of this new dynamic, and what it means for our relationship with the world around us. As Timothy Snyder states “the biggest wallet pays for the most blinding lights”.
Through use of modern scenery generation software, Axiom takes entirely fictional, digital worlds and creates something tangible therefore forcing viewers to question what they know and perceive as truth.
