Christian has been making furniture for nearly 20 years for both private and public clients.
Creating pieces that are beautiful and made for everyday use, he designs his furniture to have visual and physical integrity, elegance and strength. He is interested in the way light plays across the shape of a piece and how it will look from different angles. Clean lines, subtle details and considered proportions are all key elements in his work.
Working with sustainable British and European timbers, he carefully selects the wood for each part of a piece, using its natural patterns to support the overall design. He combines the best of traditional and modern techniques to hand craft each piece in his North Cornish workshop.
