Join Associate Maker Member Susan Bradshaw for a creative needle lace workshop inspired by floral designs!
In this hands-on session, you will create a small decorative flower using traditional needle lace stitches. Embroidery threads and beads will be incorporated into the design, allowing you to explore texture, colour, and detail.
All materials are provided, making this workshop suitable for both beginners and experienced stitchers.
Along the way, you'll learn needle lace techniques that can be used to embellish a wide range of textile projects and expand your stitching repertoire.
On the Day
All tools and materials will be provided. Please do wear comfortable / old clothing - aprons will be provided if needed.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. There will be a short lunch break during the workshop and participants are welcome to bring a packed lunch. Our Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.

On arrival, please enter the building via the shop, follow the arrows to ‘Education Space’, through the smaller galleries, at the rear of the building on the ground floor.
