A Green Maker Initiative Workshop
Join Sarah Brewer, from Bunny Brewer, for a Christmas candle and soap making workshop!
An opportunity to learn the art and science of creating handmade aromatherapy candles and soaps. This mindful activity will be guided by Sarah Brewer from Bunny Brewer Holistic Beauty.
All the natural products are made from ethically sourced and vegan ingredients and avoid synthetic fragrance oils, Sodium laurate, palm oil and paraffin waxes.
A wholesome afternoon and you will take home your creations of a 75g soy candle, wax melts and a snowflake soap scented with the beautiful Christmas essential oils of frankincense, orange, cinnamon and pine which will make your home smell wonderful or give as a handmade gift.
Open to complete beginners and people with experience of soap making. Participants must be aged 18 years or older to participate.
On the Day
All tools and materials will be provided. Please do wear comfortable / old clothes. Aprons will be provided if needed.
A glass of non-alcoholic sparkling wine and a mince pie will be available on arrival. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included and will be available on the day. Our Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop - all participants receive a 10% discount voucher for food and drink purchased on the day. The 10% discount is also valid in our shop for the duration of your workshop day.
On arrival, please enter the building via the shop, follow the arrows to the café, through the galleries and up the internal stairs. Make your way through the café and through the glass double doors to the workshop. Please let us know if you require the lift or need any reasonable adjustments made ahead of the workshop.
Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces. Click here for more information on our location and car parking for the day.
