We’re delighted to be bringing an extension of our Maker Member Show to The Flavel, the cultural centre of Dartmouth, where a selection of work will be on display as a special pop-up exhibition. Six of our brilliant makers have offered wall-based artworks inspired by the sea, a particularly fitting theme given the gallery’s beautiful coastal location.
Alongside the exhibition, The Flavel will be hosting workshops with some of the participating makers. These sessions offer visitors the chance to meet the makers, find out more about their work and creative processes, and have a go at making something themselves.
This exhibition is taking place at the exhibition space on the first floor, bar area of The Flavel in Daratmouth, not at MAKE Southwest in Bovey Tracey.
The Flavel is a vibrant cultural organisation in the heart of Dartmouth, it houses a cinema, live events, a library and a small exhibition gallery, with a busy programme of events, workshops and classes throughout the year.
