THE PANDEMIC EFFECT

This Covid Pandemic has affected my working output because it has forced cancellations on a number of exhibitions that were planned for 2020. I probably thrive best under pressure to produce work to a deadline and therefore due to this outbreak it has slowed me down.

That being said, I have spent more time looking at ways to change my work, both in technique, colour, texture and subject matter that may not have developed the same without this despicable virus. I have made a limited edition piece of 25 that is related to Covid entitled “Social Distance.”

I think it will be a long time before all is back to normal, but I will continue to be creative with my work based on my interests, thoughts, attitude, knowledge and skill. The virus has created time for me to reflect on all of these .

As always I remain positive, irrespective of this pandemic and I will keep pushing my personal boundaries making unique works of art.
