Wood is a natural material and like us, needs a little bit of TLC! Please don't leave it soaking in water or put it in a dishwasher as this may cause the wood to crack. A quick wipe or a wash in soapy water and immediately wiped dry will suit it best. This board has been finished with a coat of food safe mineral oil. To look after it, re-finish it occasionally with either mineral oil or walnut oil - just wipe on, leave for an hour, or so and then wipe off any excess.
